Description
This route takes us along an old path connecting the Arenal Dam to the main entrance of Arenal National Park. From there, we continue towards the small village of El Castillo along a road surrounded by dense forest and a few cattle farms. It is often possible to spot howler monkeys, coatis, and a wide variety of birds. We will stop for a snack by the shores of Lake Arenal, where those who wish can take a swim.
